So here's an idea I've pitched for a sequel to the fanmade game, hopefully this time using Source (don't get me wrong, I loved the original, but I just like Source):
- A Time Lord escaped the Time War and all but lost his sanity. Let's call him Hawkspur. Hawkspur then tries to go back to the age of Rassilon to use the Hand of Omega to destroy Skaro before the Daleks evolve. Unfortunately for him, you-know-who was there at the time and, not having run into them yet, is quite opposed to the idea of destroying a complete species, even if they threaten the future of the Time Lords (which Hawkspur doesn't explain very well). So he hijacks the hand, fakes his own death and traps Hawkspur in the Eye.
- Who-knows-how-much-longer later, he's escaped and is planning revenge on the Doctor. He's taken control of Time Station Zeta, an abandoned Time Agent base manned by a robot security force. He uses the Time Scoop to kidnap the first Eight Doctors, his various companions, and some of his worst enemies, and place them in an area of space within the boundary nexus of “the Rift”. However, the Eighth Doctor manages to send out a Beacon aimed at Earth in the late twentieth/early twenty-first centuries…
Yes, it reeks of plagiarism from Destiny of the Doctors, but come on! Don't tell me you wouldn't want to play this.
