Clara Oswald (Immortals) was a companion to The Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors.
After an incident where she was killed the Twelfth Doctor rescued her by pulling her out of her time stream using Gallifreyan technology, she found out later that she had no heartbeat and was technically immortal, in order to save Clara the Doctor's memory was temporarily erased, Ashildr, a fellow immortal joined Clara as they used a spare Tardis initially in the shape of a diner to explore the universe before returning to Gallifrey and facing her end.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Born in Blackpool Clara had a very average life, this is until she turned 19 and her mother died and her father grew distant, she tried to find comfort in little things, holding onto a ring that had belonged to her mother and a leaf that had caused her parents to meet, Clara ventured on in life, holding on to the past.
Adventures with the Doctor:[]
When the Eleventh Doctor first encountered Clara she had found him odd, but eventually grew to like him more over time, that mystery grew a slight romantic affiliation, he had taught her to let go, she let go of the leaf and let go of the ring to stop an alien beast, though eventually he returned the ring.
She encountered many villains, some disturbed her, slowly Clara was becoming less sure of staying with the Doctor, he eventually started acting strangely too, calling her impossible behind her back.
She found out he did this because The Doctor had met different versions of herself in different periods of time, the far future and the Victorian era, Clara would use this knowledge later when the Great Intelligence invaded the Doctor's Timestream, she went in to confront them, creating these copies, the Doctor helped her escape but not until seeing a secret incarnation of the Doctor known as the War Doctor.
Clara helped the Doctor face off against the Zygon's and helped the Tenth, Eleventh, and War incarnations chose to save Gallifrey, the Doctor's home world, instead of destroying it.
The Eleventh Doctor would regenerate after a massive battle, Clara would stay with the much darker Twelfth Doctor and nearly get pushed over the edge several times, she had become addicted and couldn't stop though, no matter how much she wanted to.
When her boyfriend, Danny Pink was converted into a Cybermen at the hands of the new female incarnation of the Doctor's arch nemesis the Master, Clara chose to give up travelling with him, lying that Danny had been restored to life so he wouldn't worry, he in turn lied that he had found the missing Gallifrey, which he also didn't.
On Christmas of that year Clara woke up to see what appeared to be Santa Claus on her roof with two elves, the Doctor appeared and took her to the Tardis, they went to a research base with scientists waiting, eventually they figured out it was a set of dreams by alien creatures, Santa, the Doctor, the Research Team, and Clara needed to find a way to escape but not before Clara said goodbye to Danny through a dream land.
After briefly escaping death and what seemed to be a fake reality set up by the dreamworld where she grew old, The Doctor offered Clara to rejoin him, she took it, they would travel for some time, meeting a woman named Ashlidr who the Doctor made immortal to resurrect her, Ashildr would return, calling herself "Me", and place a nearly unbreakable curse on one of Clara's friends, Clara would transfer it to herself to buy time only to find out it would kill her no matter what, she was sent out to be killed by a mystical Raven creature.

In Between Life and Death[]
The Doctor rescued Clara from death with the help of Gallifrey and tried to rescue her, he quickly realized that she was still dead and without a heartbeat.
The two would meet Ashildr and The Doctor would try to erase Clara's memory, they argued and he agreed to have it be a one in two chance of either him or Clara, he would lose his memories of her before gaining them back just before his regeneration.
