Plot
April, 2042
"Breaking News! The US and China are at war. In the early hours of this morning, both sides, simulatenously, declared war on each other, after months of rising tensions. The Prime Minister is yet to comment on where the UK stands in this crisis.", the newsreader announced as the Doctor's faced dropped and Rose held her head in her hands.
"We've failed, Doctor. What do we do?", asked Rose defeatedly. Suddenly, they heard the familiar wheezing groan of the TARDIS.
April 2041
"Well then! Here we are! Your future. Earth in the year 2041!", the Doctor announced, "mind you, not an entirely eventful decade, besides the climate breaking down and rising conflict around the globe, but none of that actually happens yet!"
"Great! So what are going to do then, if it's so boring!", asked Rose. Before the Doctor could reply, someone bumped into Rose.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry." He said. "I'm so preoccupied I've forgot basic common sense. "He smiled. "I'm Ryan. Ryan McCrimmon."
